Welcome to my website!

Grab a coffee, get comfy and stay a while, because I'd love to share some of my words with you! I've hand-picked some small pieces which are perfect when you haven't got a lot of time, or always think - you don't have time to read.

I'm an aspiring author with a special interest in creative nonfiction, place writing, and microfiction. I'm in the final year of a BA in Creative Writing at Falmouth University and I'm currently compiling an anthology of work exploring class and growing up in the 1970s in a working-class mining community.

When I'm not scribbling away my thoughts, I work part-time as a Creative Director in a bouncy castle factory (the work is very up and down, ha!), a business my husband and I first began in 1999. I'm a member of The Society of Authors and NaNoWriMo, and I share my time between the West Midlands and Cornwall with my husband, two daughters and grandson.
